Although we are not a training agency, Midwest Underwater Explorers is dedicated to broadening the knowledge, skills, and capability of our members, and the community at large.

Gue Dive Training

Midwest Underwater Explorers is an instructor agnostic community.  We partner with instructors working around the world to help enable GUE training opportunities for MWUE members within the Midwest. MWUE connects groups of prospective students to instructors and provides logistical and equipment support to the instructors to make the courses successful.

Community Education

Through GUE's Global Community and our own local community, MWUE members are exposed to a wide range of educational opportunities to expand their skill as divers and enhance their knowledge of history and the environment around them.

Public Education

MWUE seeks to engage the broader community through education initiatives.  Educating divers and non-divers alike as we work to tell the stories of our regions history through archaeology, and protect our future through conservation efforts.
